"Great choice for firewood in the Lubbock area.
What drew me to this company was the fact that, unlike some other businesses I have used in Lubbock, Freedom Firewood does not charge a higher price for good hardwoods such as Hickory. Delivery was smooth, you can not choose the delivery day however they were extremely flexible in regards to the delivery time so it was easy for me to receive the firewood. The guys did a great job quickly making an organized stack right where I asked. They also have regular giveaways of firewood related gear, one week after my last purchase I was notified I had won a drawing for a half chord rack which they also delivered to my home at my convenience. The positive experience and reasonable pricing have made me a loyal customer, I will use this business anytime I need firewood."

"We have bought oak twice from this supplier. Very impressed and pleased with the first purchase which was a full chord split with some family. The oak burned hot and long.
The second purchase was disappointing to the first. We only purchased a quarter chord this time and seemed like we were mainly given smaller pieces or left overs. Took the oak longer to catch fire and actually burn almost like it hadn't been fully seasoned. When it did finally catch, it burned like oak should.
The service was amazing though. While we were paying the bill they loaded the wood. Very friendly and helpful people. Willing to get you what you need if you just call. Highly recommend calling before you go to make sure what you want is in supply.
We plan to continue to do buy our firewood needs here."
